Description

Delicious baked biscuits filled with savory roast beef and provolone cheese, served with a flavorful au jus for dipping.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough, 8 count
  • 1 pound thinly sliced deli roast beef
  • 8 slices provolone cheese, halved or quartered
  • 2 tablespoons creamy horseradish sauce
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • Water, for preparing au jus per packet instructions
  • Melted butter, for brushing


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Separate biscuits and split each in half horizontally. Gently flatten into 3-inch circles.
  3. Spread horseradish sauce on the bottom halves if desired.
  4. Layer roast beef and provolone cheese on each biscuit bottom.
  5. Top with remaining biscuit halves and press edges to seal.
  6. Brush tops with melted butter.
  7. Bake for 12–18 minutes until golden and baked through.
  8. Prepare au jus according to packet instructions.
  9. Serve biscuits warm with au jus for dipping.
