Description

Banana Bread Brownies are a moist, banana-infused dessert with rich chocolate flavor. Perfect for a snack, dessert, or indulgent treat for banana and chocolate lovers.


Ingredients

  • 2 medium-sized ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. Mash bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter to the bananas; mix well.
  4. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract until combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually fold dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined.
  7. If using, fold in chocolate chips.
  8. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
  9. Bake 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
  10. Cool 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For extra banana flavor, add more mashed bananas and reduce butter slightly.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container up to 3 days at room temperature or up to a week in the fridge.
