Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, seasoning with salt, pepper, onion powder, and paprika. Cook until fully browned, then drain excess fat.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add cooked rice, beef broth, and heavy cream. Stir and simmer for 3–4 minutes until creamy and slightly thickened.
  4. Spread garlic butter rice into a greased 9×13 baking dish.
  5. Layer cooked beef evenly over the rice.
  6. Top with cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. Broil for 2–3 minutes for a golden top if desired.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.
