Description

BEST Chocolate Chip Cookies – Crispy on the Outside, Chewy on the Inside! Perfect for a treat or dessert, these cookies are easy to make and irresistibly delicious.


Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • Flaky sea salt (optional, for sprinkling on top)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  2. Cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
  3. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and kosher salt. Gradually mix into wet ingredients.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips evenly.
  5. Scoop dough by rounded tablespoons onto prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt if desired.
  6. Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
  7. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely. Serve with milk!

Notes

  • For extra gooey cookies, slightly underbake by 1–2 minutes. They’ll firm up as they cool but remain soft inside.
