Description

A refreshingly sweet and energizing iced black tea infused with matcha and brown sugar. Optional milk makes it creamy and indulgent, perfect for a hot day!


Ingredients

  • 2 cups brewed black tea (cooled)
  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 2-3 tbsp brown sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 cup milk or plant-based milk (optional)
  • Ice cubes, as needed
  • Optional garnish: sprinkle of matcha powder, brown sugar drizzle


Instructions

  1. Brew 2 cups of black tea and allow it to cool. Refrigerate for faster cooling.
  2. Whisk matcha powder with 1-2 tbsp hot water until smooth and frothy.
  3. Add brown sugar to the brewed tea while slightly warm and stir until dissolved.
  4. Pour matcha into sweetened tea, add milk if desired, and stir gently. Fill glasses with ice and pour tea mixture over.
  5. Garnish with matcha powder and brown sugar drizzle if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For richer flavor, lightly caramelize brown sugar before adding to tea.
