Description

Cheeseburger pockets with savory ground beef, onions, cheese, and classic condiments wrapped in flaky dough – perfect for a quick lunch or snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 preferred)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard (yellow or Dijon)
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can crescent roll dough (or pizza/biscuit dough)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Add onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until beef is no longer pink and onions are soft. Drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in ketchup and mustard, then remove from heat and mix in shredded cheese.
  4. Roll out dough and cut into 8 rectangles or rounds.
  5. Spoon 2 tablespoons of filling onto each piece. Fold and seal edges with a fork.
  6. Place on baking sheet and brush with beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before serving.
