Description
Chicken Alfredo Flatbread is a creamy, cheesy, and savory delight that combines tender chicken, rich Alfredo sauce, and melted mozzarella on a crisp flatbread base. Perfect for weeknight dinners or sharing with family and friends.
Ingredients
- 1 pre-made flatbread or naan (or homemade)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 2 cups cooked chicken, diced or shredded
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Brush flatbread lightly with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- If using raw chicken, cook in a skillet with garlic powder and Italian seasoning until fully cooked. If pre-cooked, toss in seasoning and set aside.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Spread Alfredo sauce evenly over flatbread. Top with cooked chicken, then sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake 8–10 minutes, or until cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before slicing. Serve warm.
Notes
- Add veggies like spinach, mushrooms, or roasted red peppers for extra flavor and color.
- For a crispier crust, bake directly on the oven rack for the last 2 minutes.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 2-3 days; reheat gently in the oven.
