Description

Cinnamon Swirl Banana Bread is moist, tender, and packed with sweet banana flavor, finished with a rich cinnamon-sugar swirl for a cozy homemade treat perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix bananas, melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to wet mixture and stir just until combined.
  4. In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and brown sugar.
  5. Pour half the batter into the pan, sprinkle with half the cinnamon mixture.
  6. Add remaining batter and top with remaining cinnamon mixture.
  7. Swirl gently with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  8. Bake 60–70 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Cool 10 minutes in pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • If bread browns too quickly, tent loosely with foil.
  • For extra flavor, add chopped nuts or chocolate chips.
