Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix bananas, melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to wet mixture and stir just until combined.
- In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Pour half the batter into the pan, sprinkle with half the cinnamon mixture.
- Add remaining batter and top with remaining cinnamon mixture.
- Swirl gently with a knife to create a marbled effect.
- Bake 60–70 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool 10 minutes in pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- If bread browns too quickly, tent loosely with foil.
- For extra flavor, add chopped nuts or chocolate chips.
