Description

Cranberry Orange Cream Cheese Pastry Straws are flaky, bright, and holiday-perfect treats filled with a creamy blend of cranberry sauce and fresh orange zest.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into 1-inch by 6-inch strips.
  3. Mix cream cheese, cranberry sauce, orange zest, and sugar until smooth.
  4. Spoon filling onto one end of each strip, fold over, and seal edges with a fork.
  5. Brush tops with beaten egg.
  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  7. Cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
