Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta is a rich and comforting dish featuring tender chicken, perfectly cooked pasta, and a smooth, cheesy garlic cream sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, sliced thin
- 250 g pasta (fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti)
- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat oil or butter in a pan and cook chicken 5–7 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic for about 1 minute.
- Add chicken broth and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
- If needed, add pasta water to adjust sauce consistency.
- Return chicken and pasta to the pan, toss until well coated.
Notes
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for best texture.
- Add spinach or mushrooms for variation.
- Adjust thickness with pasta water as needed.
