Description

Crispy Hot Honey Feta Chicken combines crunchy golden chicken cutlets with warm chili-spiced honey and salty crumbled feta for the perfect sweet-spicy-salty dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup (110 g) honey
  • 1 1/2 tsp hot sauce
  • 3/4 tsp chili flakes
  • 2 × 250 g (9 oz) chicken breasts, halved horizontally
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 35 g (1/4 cup) plain flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 65 g (1 cup) Panko breadcrumbs
  • 68 tbsp vegetable oil, for frying
  • 200 g (7 oz) feta cheese, crumbled


Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix honey, hot sauce, and chili flakes. Set aside.
  2. Season chicken cutlets with paprika, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, dried oregano, black pepper, and cayenne.
  3. Coat each chicken piece in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat in Panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Fry chicken 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Transfer to paper towel–lined plate.
  6. Drizzle hot honey mixture over warm chicken.
  7. Top generously with crumbled feta and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Add more cayenne for extra heat.
  • Serve with rice, potatoes, or a fresh salad.
  • Replace feta with goat cheese for a creamier finish.
