Description

This Potsticker Stir Fry is a quick and flavorful dish featuring crispy pan-seared potstickers tossed with colorful vegetables and a savory Asian-inspired sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen potstickers (about 2024 pieces)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

Sauce:

  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon honey or sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water (slurry)


Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Pan-fry potstickers until golden on the bottom, then add a splash of water and cover to steam until cooked. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining oil, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Add bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot. Stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, hoisin, vinegar, sesame oil, and honey.
  6. Pour sauce into the skillet and bring to a simmer.
  7. Add cornstarch slurry and stir until sauce thickens.
  8. Return potstickers to the pan and toss gently to coat.
  9. Top with green onions and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use chicken, pork, or vegetable potstickers based on preference.
  • Do not overcrowd the pan when crisping potstickers.
  • Add chili flakes or sriracha for spice.
