Description

Discover how to make incredibly crispy and flavorful zucchini chips! This healthy snack is baked low and slow for maximum crunch and seasoned with your favorite spices.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium zucchinis
  • 12 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Grated parmesan (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly spray.
  2. Wash and dry zucchinis thoroughly, then slice into thin rounds (~1/8-inch thick). Pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Toss slices in olive oil, salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Add parmesan if desired and toss to coat.
  4. Spread slices on the baking sheet and bake for 1.5–2 hours, flipping halfway through.
  5. Check around 90 minutes: chips should be golden brown and crispy. Bake longer if needed.
  6. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before serving.

Notes

  • Use a mandoline slicer for consistent thickness to ensure even crisping.
  • Thicker slices may be softer; thinner slices may crisp faster.
