Description
A delicious and creamy corn casserole that combines sweet corn with cream cheese and cheddar for a perfect side dish.
Ingredients
- 2 cans (15 oz each) sweet corn, drained
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup crushed buttery crackers (for topping)
- 2 tablespoons melted butter (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, blend cream cheese, sour cream, milk, sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Fold in drained sweet corn until evenly coated.
- Transfer mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the corn layer.
- Mix crushed crackers with melted butter and sprinkle evenly over the cheese.
- Bake 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
