Description
Mini King Cake Bites are festive treats that bring joy to any gathering with their cinnamon sweetness and colorful sprinkles.
Ingredients
- Dough: 1 package Refrigerated Crescent Rolls (substitute with pastry dough if preferred)
- Filling: 6 teaspoons Cinnamon Sugar (mix 3 tablespoons sugar with 1 teaspoon cinnamon)
- Glaze: 1 cup Confectioners’ Sugar
- 3 tablespoons Water
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- Decoration: Colored Decorating Sugars (Purple, Green, Yellow)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare two mini muffin tins with baking spray.
- Unroll the refrigerated crescent rolls and pinch the diagonal perforations to create four rectangular pieces.
- Sprinkle 1.5 teaspoons of cinnamon sugar over each rectangle of dough.
- Roll each rectangle tightly from the long side and cut into 7 equal pieces.
- Place 2 pieces of the cut dough into each prepared muffin cup and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Make the glaze by whisking together confectioners’ sugar, water, and vanilla extract.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled bites and sprinkle with colored sugars before serving.
Notes
- These bites can be stored at room temperature for 2 days or in the fridge for up to 5 days.
- For longer storage, freeze for up to 2 months.
