Ingredients
- 1 can pizza dough (store-bought)
- ½ cup marinara sauce (or pesto/Alfredo)
- 6–8 slices mozzarella cheese (or blend with cheddar/provolone)
- 12–18 slices pepperoni (or veggies/protein of choice)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Lightly grease a muffin tin with cooking spray or butter.
- Roll out pizza dough and slice into 6 long strips, 1–2 inches wide.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce over each strip, leaving edges bare.
- Layer cheese slices on top of the sauce.
- Arrange pepperoni slices on cheese, letting half hang off the edge.
- Carefully roll each strip into a rose shape, tucking ends underneath.
- Place each rose in a muffin cup and bake 12–15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Cool slightly, garnish with basil or olive oil if desired, and serve.
