Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced (divided)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (divided)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 packs ramen noodles (fresh or dried)
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1 tsp chili oil (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix chili powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Coat chicken and marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken for 5–7 minutes per side until cooked through. Rest and slice.
- For the creamy garlic sauce, melt butter in a small saucepan. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, then stir in heavy cream and simmer until slightly thickened.
- Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a pot, heat sesame oil and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add chicken broth, soy sauce, and heavy cream. Simmer 5–7 minutes.
- Divide noodles between bowls and pour hot broth over them.
- Top with sliced chicken and drizzle with creamy garlic sauce.
- Garnish with green onions and chili oil if desired. Serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust chili oil and spices depending on your heat preference.
- Fresh ramen noodles give the best texture, but dried noodles work well too.
