Description
Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches are a decadent dessert made with creamy cheesecake filling, fresh strawberries, and golden fried bread.
Ingredients
- 8 slices brioche or challah bread
- 2 tbsp butter, for frying
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup strawberry preserves or jam
- 2 large eggs
- 3 tbsp whole milk
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions
- Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Spread mixture on four bread slices, add strawberries and jam.
- Top with remaining bread slices and press gently.
- Whisk eggs and milk in a shallow bowl.
- Dip sandwiches into egg mixture, coating both sides.
- Fry in butter over medium heat for 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
- Drain briefly, dust with powdered sugar, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- Substitute strawberries with raspberries or blueberries if desired.
- Use fresh fruit for best flavor.
