Ingredients
For the Steak Bites:
- 1 lb (450 g) sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh thyme (or ½ tsp dried thyme)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
For the Parmesan Alfredo Shells:
- 8 oz (225 g) pasta shells
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream, bring to gentle simmer, then whisk in Parmesan cheese until creamy. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Toss pasta in sauce and keep warm.
- Pat steak cubes dry. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak bites 2–3 minutes per side until browned.
- Reduce heat to medium, add butter, garlic, and thyme. Spoon melted garlic butter over steak bites for 1–2 minutes.
- Serve Alfredo shells topped with steak bites and drizzle remaining garlic butter over. Garnish with parsley.
Notes
- Add veggies: sautéed mushrooms, spinach, or roasted broccoli pair beautifully.
- Cheese boost: sprinkle extra Parmesan or mozzarella on top for a cheesy finish.
- Make it spicy: add red pepper flakes to the garlic butter for a subtle kick.
