Description
Juicy garlic butter steak bites served over creamy Parmesan pasta shells for a rich and satisfying dinner packed with bold flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 10 oz pasta shells
- 1 tbsp butter
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ cup reserved pasta water (if needed)
Instructions
- Cook pasta shells in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Reserve ¼ cup pasta water, drain, and set aside.
- Pat steak cubes dry and season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak bites 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium and add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Return steak bites to the pan and toss in the garlic butter. Sprinkle with parsley.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and garlic powder until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add reserved pasta water if needed to thin the sauce.
- Toss cooked pasta shells in the sauce until fully coated.
- Serve creamy pasta topped with garlic butter steak bites.
Notes
- Use sirloin or ribeye for the most tender steak bites.
- Do not overcrowd the skillet when searing steak to ensure proper browning.
- Freshly grated Parmesan melts smoother than pre-shredded cheese.
