Description

Gordon Ramsay Macaroni Salad is a creamy, tangy, and textured salad featuring tender macaroni, crisp vegetables, hard-boiled eggs, and a perfectly balanced dressing with sweet pickle juice, Dijon mustard, and a touch of vinegar.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz dry macaroni noodles
  • Β½ cup finely diced sweet gherkins
  • ΒΎ cup finely diced red bell pepper
  • β…“ cup thinly sliced celery
  • β…“ cup finely diced red onion
  • 2 large hard-boiled eggs, finely diced
  • ΒΎ cup mayonnaise
  • ΒΌ cup sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp sweet pickle juice
  • 1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ΒΌ tsp salt
  • ΒΌ tsp black pepper
  • β…› tsp garlic powder
  • β…› tsp crushed red pepper


Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni in salted water until al dente. Rinse under cold water and toss with a bit of olive oil to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cooked macaroni, gherkins, bell pepper, celery, red onion, and diced eggs.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, sweet pickle juice, red wine vinegar, sugar, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper until smooth.
  4. Pour dressing over macaroni mixture and toss gently to coat evenly.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Stir before serving and adjust seasoning if needed.
