Gordon Ramsay Macaroni Salad is a creamy, tangy, and textured salad featuring tender macaroni, crisp vegetables, hard-boiled eggs, and a perfectly balanced dressing with sweet pickle juice, Dijon mustard, and a touch of vinegar.
Ingredients
- 8 oz dry macaroni noodles
- Β½ cup finely diced sweet gherkins
- ΒΎ cup finely diced red bell pepper
- β cup thinly sliced celery
- β cup finely diced red onion
- 2 large hard-boiled eggs, finely diced
- ΒΎ cup mayonnaise
- ΒΌ cup sour cream
- 2 Tbsp sweet pickle juice
- 1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- ΒΌ tsp salt
- ΒΌ tsp black pepper
- β tsp garlic powder
- β tsp crushed red pepper
Instructions
- Cook macaroni in salted water until al dente. Rinse under cold water and toss with a bit of olive oil to prevent sticking.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked macaroni, gherkins, bell pepper, celery, red onion, and diced eggs.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, sweet pickle juice, red wine vinegar, sugar, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper until smooth.
- Pour dressing over macaroni mixture and toss gently to coat evenly.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Stir before serving and adjust seasoning if needed.

- Use chilled bowls for mixing and serving to help maintain texture.
- Hold back a bit of dressing to adjust after chilling; pasta absorbs dressing in fridge.
