Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4–5 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup beef broth or water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned (5–7 minutes). Drain excess fat.
- Stir in chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until soft (3–4 minutes).
- Spread beef mixture in baking dish. Layer thinly sliced potatoes on top; season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Sprinkle cheeses over potatoes and pour beef broth around edges.
- Cover with foil and bake 30 minutes; uncover and bake additional 15–20 minutes until potatoes are tender.
