Tender chicken coated in a sticky honey garlic sauce, paired with fluffy rice and crisp vegetables to create a delightful culinary experience.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken breast or thighs, diced
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Red pepper flakes for added heat (optional)
  • Broccoli florets (optional)
  • Brown sugar for a richer sauce (optional)
  • Bell peppers for color (optional)


Instructions

  1. Combine diced chicken with soy sauce and minced garlic in a bowl. Marinate at least 30 minutes.
  2. Mix honey, rice vinegar, and cornstarch in a separate bowl to create the sauce.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and cook marinated chicken until golden brown and cooked through. Set aside.
  4. In the same pan, sauté minced garlic, add sauce mixture, and simmer until thickened. Return chicken to pan and coat in sauce.
  5. Sprinkle sliced green onions and sesame seeds over the dish. Serve over steamed rice.

Notes

  • Optional: add broccoli and bell peppers for more vegetables.
  • For a richer sauce, add a pinch of brown sugar.
