Description
This Honey Garlic Chicken is sweet, savory, and incredibly easy to prepare. Tender chicken breasts are cooked in a sticky honey garlic glaze, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 2 large chicken breasts
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)
- Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chicken and cook 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
- Remove chicken and set aside. In the same pan, sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds.
- Stir in soy sauce and honey; cook until sauce thickens slightly.
- Return chicken to the pan, coating it well in the honey garlic sauce.
- Simmer 2–3 minutes until glossy and flavorful. Slice and serve warm.
Notes
- Serve with rice, roasted veggies, or mashed potatoes.
- Add chili flakes for a spicy version.
