Description
An easy, crowd-pleasing taco pizza using a crescent roll crust. Topped with creamy cheese, seasoned taco beef, fresh tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and melty cheddar jack cheese.
Ingredients
- 2 tubes refrigerated crescent rolls
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3 tbsp sour cream
- 2 tbsp jarred salsa
- 1 1/4 lb ground beef
- 1 envelope taco seasoning
- 3 to 4 diced roma tomatoes
- 4 to 5 oz shredded cheddar jack cheese
- 1/2 oz bag shredded lettuce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Unroll crescent rolls onto a cookie sheet, pinch seams, and bake according to package instructions until golden brown. Let cool completely.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat, add taco seasoning with water from packet, simmer until coated. Let cool slightly.
- Mix cream cheese, sour cream, and salsa until smooth. Spread evenly over cooled crescent roll base.
- Layer taco meat over the creamy mixture.
- Top with diced tomatoes, shredded cheddar jack cheese, and shredded lettuce.
- Slice and serve immediately.
Notes
- Can assemble ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Add jalapeños or sliced olives for extra flavor.
- Use rotisserie chicken instead of beef for a different twist.
