Description

Iowa Party Bites are a savory sensation—crispy, bite-sized morsels packed with smoky bacon, creamy cheese, and a hint of tangy seasoning. Perfectly crispy on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth inside, they’re a crowd-pleasing treat that’s impossible to resist!


Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen hashbrowns (30 oz)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled beef
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place frozen hashbrowns in a large mixing bowl and thaw for about 10 minutes.
  3. Break up hashbrowns into smaller, bite-sized pieces.
  4. Add shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled beef, mixing gently.
  5. Sprinkle onion powder, garlic powder, dried parsley, black pepper, and salt; stir until evenly distributed.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and Dijon mustard; mix until smooth.
  7. Pour sour cream mixture over hashbrowns and beef; stir to combine.
  8. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  9. Scoop small portions of mixture and form bite-sized balls; place on prepared baking sheet.
  10. Bake 20–25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  11. Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
