Description
These mini grilled cheese Hawaiian rolls are soft, cheesy, and baked to golden perfection, making a perfect warm snack or appetizer for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 pack Hawaiian rolls (12-count)
- 8–10 cheddar cheese slices or preferred cheese
- 4 tbsp melted butter
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 4 slices turkey bacon, beef bacon, or chicken bacon (optional)
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- Pinch of salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Slice the sheet of Hawaiian rolls horizontally without separating them.
- Lay cheese slices evenly on the bottom half of the rolls.
- Add bacon if using, then place the top half of the rolls back on.
- Mix melted butter with garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the rolls.
- Cover with foil and bake for 12 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake another 5–7 minutes until golden.
- Slice and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, try brushing tops with a mix of Parmesan and melted butter.
- Optional bacon can be substituted with cooked sausage or ham.
- Serve immediately for best texture; reheating can make rolls slightly softer.
