Description

Start your day right with these Puff Pastry Breakfast Hand Pies, stuffed with savory sausage, rich egg, and melty cheese. Perfect for busy mornings, portable and delicious!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 4 large eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package puff pastry
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven according to puff pastry package instructions (usually 400°F / 200°C).
  2. Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Beat eggs with salt and pepper, scramble lightly until just set, then remove from heat.
  4. Roll out puff pastry and cut into 8 squares. Place sausage, eggs, and cheddar in the center of each.
  5. Fold pastry over filling to form hand pies and seal edges. Optionally brush with egg wash.
  6. Bake 15–20 minutes until golden and puffed.
  7. Serve warm.
