Description

This One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles is a comforting, creamy, and flavorful dish made with tender chicken and buttery garlic noodles cooked in a rich broth. Perfect for an easy weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • Chicken
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Noodles
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • Buttered Garlic Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Season chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. Pour chicken broth into the same skillet and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add egg noodles and submerge them in the broth.
  6. Cover and cook 7–8 minutes until noodles are tender and liquid is mostly absorbed.
  7. In a separate pan, melt butter and sauté garlic 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  8. Stir butter garlic mixture into noodles.
  9. Add Parmesan cheese if using and toss well.
  10. Slice chicken and place on top of noodles.
  11. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

  • Add a splash of cream for extra richness.
  • Use thighs instead of breasts for juicier chicken.
