Ingredients
- Chicken
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Noodles
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- Buttered Garlic Sauce
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Season chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Pour chicken broth into the same skillet and bring to a simmer.
- Add egg noodles and submerge them in the broth.
- Cover and cook 7–8 minutes until noodles are tender and liquid is mostly absorbed.
- In a separate pan, melt butter and sauté garlic 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir butter garlic mixture into noodles.
- Add Parmesan cheese if using and toss well.
- Slice chicken and place on top of noodles.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Add a splash of cream for extra richness.
- Use thighs instead of breasts for juicier chicken.
