Description
One-Pan White Cheddar Ranch Sausage Magic Pasta is a creamy, cheesy, and comforting skillet meal loaded with smoky sausage, ranch flavor, and tender pasta in a rich sauce.
Ingredients
- 12 oz rotini pasta
- 14 oz smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
- 1 1/2 cups shredded white cheddar cheese
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups baby spinach
- 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add sausage slices and brown until golden on both sides, then remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and milk, scraping up any browned bits from the pan.
- Stir in ranch seasoning and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add rotini pasta, making sure it is mostly submerged. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until al dente (12–15 minutes).
- Lower heat and stir in shredded white cheddar until smooth and creamy.
- Fold in spinach and roasted red peppers, allowing spinach to wilt.
- Return sausage to the pan and mix everything together.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.
Notes
- Add extra cheese for a richer and creamier texture.
- Swap smoked sausage with chicken, turkey, or plant-based sausage if desired.
- Adjust liquid slightly if pasta absorbs too quickly.
