Description
Succulent oven-baked crab legs smothered in a rich compound butter sauce infused with aromatic herbs. Perfect for an elegant dinner with minimal fuss.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs crab legs (king crab or snow crab)
- 8 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- In a small bowl, mix butter, garlic, parsley, dill, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to create compound butter.
- Arrange crab legs on the prepared baking sheet and spread compound butter over them.
- Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 5 minutes until heated through and butter is bubbling.
- Serve hot, drizzling extra butter sauce over crab legs and garnish with herbs if desired.
Notes
- Serve with lemon wedges and extra butter for dipping.
- Adjust herbs to taste for more flavor.
