Description

Succulent oven-baked crab legs smothered in a rich compound butter sauce infused with aromatic herbs. Perfect for an elegant dinner with minimal fuss.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs crab legs (king crab or snow crab)
  • 8 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. In a small bowl, mix butter, garlic, parsley, dill, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to create compound butter.
  3. Arrange crab legs on the prepared baking sheet and spread compound butter over them.
  4. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 5 minutes until heated through and butter is bubbling.
  5. Serve hot, drizzling extra butter sauce over crab legs and garnish with herbs if desired.

Notes

  • Serve with lemon wedges and extra butter for dipping.
  • Adjust herbs to taste for more flavor.
