Description
Pepperoncini Chicken Skillet is a bold, tangy, and buttery one-pan meal packed with flavor—perfect for an easy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3/4 cup pepperoncini peppers
- 1/4 cup pepperoncini juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp butter
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Pat chicken dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant. Add chicken broth and pepperoncini juice, scraping up browned bits.
- Stir in pepperoncini peppers, then return chicken to skillet. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 10–12 minutes until fully cooked.
- Add butter and let it melt into the sauce. Spoon sauce over the chicken.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

- Use chicken thighs for extra juiciness.
- Add extra pepperoncini juice for a tangier flavor.
