Description

Warm, soft, pillowy bread bites smothered in garlicky, buttery goodness. Perfect for sharing as a crowd-pleasing appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds pizza dough, homemade or store-bought
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 ½ tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan
  • 1 cup marinara sauce


Instructions

  1. Let dough stand at room temperature for 30 minutes up to 1 hour.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Lightly oil a 6-ounce ramekin and place in center of baking sheet. Fill with water.
  4. Cut dough into 1-ounce pieces (22–24 pieces). Press into disks, then shape into balls.
  5. Combine butter, parsley, garlic, and salt in a small bowl.
  6. Place dough balls around ramekin in a circular pattern. Brush with butter mixture and sprinkle with Parmesan.
  7. Bake 25–30 minutes until golden. Carefully remove ramekin and discard water.
  8. Fill center with marinara, brush tops with remaining butter mixture, and serve immediately.
