Description
Warm, soft, pillowy bread bites smothered in garlicky, buttery goodness. Perfect for sharing as a crowd-pleasing appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds pizza dough, homemade or store-bought
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 ½ tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan
- 1 cup marinara sauce
Instructions
- Let dough stand at room temperature for 30 minutes up to 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lightly oil a 6-ounce ramekin and place in center of baking sheet. Fill with water.
- Cut dough into 1-ounce pieces (22–24 pieces). Press into disks, then shape into balls.
- Combine butter, parsley, garlic, and salt in a small bowl.
- Place dough balls around ramekin in a circular pattern. Brush with butter mixture and sprinkle with Parmesan.
- Bake 25–30 minutes until golden. Carefully remove ramekin and discard water.
- Fill center with marinara, brush tops with remaining butter mixture, and serve immediately.
