Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups coarsely crushed pretzels
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup milk
- 1 cup mustard-cheddar sauce
Mustard-Cheddar Sauce Ingredients:
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup milk
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs mixed with Dijon mustard, and one with crushed pretzels.
- Coat each chicken breast in flour, dip into egg mixture, then press into pretzels.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes until fully cooked.
- For the sauce: Heat milk in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add cheddar cheese and stir until melted.
- Mix in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Serve chicken hot with mustard-cheddar sauce drizzled on top.

- For extra crispiness, lightly spray the coated chicken with oil before baking.
- You can substitute panko breadcrumbs if pretzels are unavailable.
