Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups coarsely crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 cup mustard-cheddar sauce

Mustard-Cheddar Sauce Ingredients:

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs mixed with Dijon mustard, and one with crushed pretzels.
  4. Coat each chicken breast in flour, dip into egg mixture, then press into pretzels.
  5. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes until fully cooked.
  6. For the sauce: Heat milk in a saucepan over medium heat.
  7. Add cheddar cheese and stir until melted.
  8. Mix in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  9. Serve chicken hot with mustard-cheddar sauce drizzled on top.
