Description

Crispy, golden, and flavorful, these Savory Sweet Potato Hash Browns are perfect for breakfast or brunch. Easy to make and naturally delicious!


Ingredients

  • 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and grated
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (or avocado oil)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Grate sweet potatoes and squeeze out excess moisture using a clean towel.
  2. In a large bowl, mix grated sweet potatoes, onion, garlic, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Form small patties from the mixture and cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  4. Transfer cooked hash browns to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with your favorite breakfast sides.
  6. Optional: finish under a broiler for 1–2 minutes per side for extra crispiness.
