Description

Quick and crispy sheet pan tacos that are easy to make and perfect for weeknight dinners. Filled with seasoned beef, cheese, and baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 6 6-inch tortillas
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1-2 tbsp taco seasoning, or more to taste
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, more to taste
  • For serving: salsa or pico de gallo, sour cream


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  2. In a medium skillet, brown ground beef and onion. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Drain fat and add taco seasoning and salsa. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  4. Spray or brush tortillas with olive oil and place on prepared baking sheet.
  5. Fill each tortilla with 1/4 cup taco meat and 1 tbsp cheese. Fold tortillas in half.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes, flip with a spatula, then bake another 5-10 minutes until crispy. Optionally add extra cheese after flipping for the last 5 minutes.

Notes

  • Use corn or flour tortillas based on preference.
  • Serve with salsa, pico de gallo, or sour cream for extra flavor.
