Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 oz smoked sausage, sliced
- 2–3 cups cooked rice (day-old rice works best)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp Cajun or Creole seasoning
- 1 tsp paprika (optional)
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Salt, to taste

Instructions
- Prep the protein: Pat shrimp dry and slice smoked sausage.
- Cook the sausage: Heat skillet over medium heat. Cook sausage 3–4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.

- Cook shrimp: Add shrimp to skillet and cook 4–5 minutes until pink and cooked through.

Notes
- Day-old rice works best to avoid mushy texture.
