Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 4 slices mozzarella cheese
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Arrange chicken breasts in a single layer in the dish.
- Mix sour cream, 1/2 cup Parmesan, cornstarch, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Place one slice of mozzarella on each chicken breast.
- Spread sour cream mixture evenly over chicken.
- Top with remaining Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 55–60 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) internally and topping is golden and bubbly.
- Let rest a few minutes before serving.
