Description

A delicious and easy-to-make Spicy Salmon Sushi Bake that combines sushi rice and baked salmon with a creamy, spicy mayo topping.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice, uncooked
  • 2½ cups water
  • ¼ cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skinless and diced
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Sriracha sauce (or to taste)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • ½ cup green onions, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 sheet nori, cut into small strips
  • Tobiko, optional for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook sushi rice according to package instructions and let cool slightly.
  3. Mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved. Fold into cooked rice.
  4. Spread rice evenly in a baking dish.
  5. Mix salmon, mayonnaise, Sriracha, sesame oil, and green onions.
  6. Spread salmon mixture over rice.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes until salmon is cooked and lightly golden.
  8. Garnish with green onions, nori, and tobiko. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Adjust Sriracha to control spice level.
  • Serve with seaweed snacks or cucumber slices.
