Delicious and visually appealing spinach-filled snacks shaped like trees, perfect for parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and thoroughly squeezed dry
  • 1/2 cup garlic and herb cream cheese (or plain cream cheese)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)

  2. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut puff pastry into 1-inch-wide strips.
  3. Roll strips into tree-shaped spirals, adding spinach filling between layers.
  4. Place trees on parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds.
  5. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  6. Cool slightly and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes
