Sticky beef noodles with tender slices of beef, coated in a rich, savory-sweet sauce and tossed with perfectly cooked noodles for a quick and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces egg noodles or rice noodles
- 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, and cornstarch. Add beef and toss to coat. Marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add beef in a single layer and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic and ginger for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in beef broth and return beef to the skillet. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Add cooked noodles and toss until evenly coated in the sauce.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, then serve immediately.
