Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook Noodles: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, and red chili flakes. Set aside.
- Cook Chicken: Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken breasts and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add Garlic: Add minced garlic to the pan and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Add Vegetables: Toss in the broccoli florets and bell pepper slices. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Combine Ingredients: Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything evenly. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Add Noodles: Add the cooked noodles to the pan. Toss everything together until the noodles are thoroughly coated with the sauce.
- Finish with Sesame Oil: Drizzle sesame oil over the noodles and give everything one last toss.
- Garnish: Remove from heat and sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
