Ingredients

  • 1 baked vanilla cake layer, crumbled
  • 1 tbsp sugar (optional)
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup strawberry puree
  • Pink food coloring (optional)
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • Pink sanding sugar (optional)
  • Heart-shaped decorations (optional)


Instructions

  1. Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
  2. Whip heavy cream to stiff peaks and fold into cream cheese mixture.
  3. Divide mixture in half; add strawberry puree to one half for strawberry cream.
  4. Crumble vanilla cake.
  5. Layer cake crumbs, strawberry cream, strawberries, and vanilla cream in dessert cups.
  6. Repeat layers as desired.
  7. Pipe a swirl of strawberry cream on top.
  8. Garnish with sanding sugar or decorations.
  9. Chill before serving.
