This Crockpot BBQ Chicken is an easy, tender, and flavorful pulled chicken recipe made with a sweet and tangy barbecue sauce—perfect for sandwiches, tacos, or bowls.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, trimmed
- 1 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup Italian dressing
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Spray crockpot with non-stick spray or use a liner.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder and place in crockpot.
- In a bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, Italian dressing, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Pour sauce over chicken evenly.
- Cover and cook on HIGH for 2.5–3 hours or LOW for 5–6 hours.
- Ensure chicken reaches 165°F internal temperature.
- Shred chicken directly in crockpot using two forks.
- Mix shredded chicken with sauce and serve warm.
