Description

This Crockpot BBQ Chicken is an easy, tender, and flavorful pulled chicken recipe made with a sweet and tangy barbecue sauce—perfect for sandwiches, tacos, or bowls.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, trimmed
  • 1 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup Italian dressing
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Spray crockpot with non-stick spray or use a liner.
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder and place in crockpot.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, Italian dressing, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Pour sauce over chicken evenly.
  5. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2.5–3 hours or LOW for 5–6 hours.
  6. Ensure chicken reaches 165°F internal temperature.
  7. Shred chicken directly in crockpot using two forks.
  8. Mix shredded chicken with sauce and serve warm.
