Ingredients
- For the Chicken
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For the Pasta
- 12 oz pasta (penne, fettuccine, or spaghetti)
- Salt for boiling water
- For the Sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat oil in a skillet and cook chicken 6–7 minutes per side until fully cooked. Remove and slice.
- Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water, then drain.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1–2 minutes.
- Add Cajun seasoning and paprika, cooking briefly to enhance flavor.
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, simmer 4–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add pasta and toss to coat, using reserved pasta water if needed.
- Add sliced chicken and mix well.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
