Description
Ready in under 30 minutes, these grilled beef Kafta Kebabs are an easy Lebanese recipe requiring only a handful of basic ingredients. Perfect for quick weeknight dinners or gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 medium yellow onion, quartered
- 1 cup fresh parsley, washed and patted dry
- 600 grams lean ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon seven spice pre-mixed blend
- ⅛ teaspoon cayenne (more to taste)
Instructions
- In a food processor, add onion and parsley. Pulse until finely chopped.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped parsley and onion, and all spices. Mix thoroughly with your hands.
- Form kebabs by molding meat around skewers, about 1–1.5 inches thick.
- Prepare grill (charcoal or gas). If using gas, preheat to medium-high and brush grill with oil.
- Place skewers on grill. Cook 4 minutes on one side, then flip and cook 4 more minutes until meat is cooked through.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Can adjust cayenne for more or less heat.
- Serve with flatbreads, rice, or salad for a complete meal.
