Description

Ready in under 30 minutes, these grilled beef Kafta Kebabs are an easy Lebanese recipe requiring only a handful of basic ingredients. Perfect for quick weeknight dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium yellow onion, quartered
  • 1 cup fresh parsley, washed and patted dry
  • 600 grams lean ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon seven spice pre-mixed blend
  • ⅛ teaspoon cayenne (more to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, add onion and parsley. Pulse until finely chopped.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped parsley and onion, and all spices. Mix thoroughly with your hands.
  3. Form kebabs by molding meat around skewers, about 1–1.5 inches thick.
  4. Prepare grill (charcoal or gas). If using gas, preheat to medium-high and brush grill with oil.
  5. Place skewers on grill. Cook 4 minutes on one side, then flip and cook 4 more minutes until meat is cooked through.
  6. Serve immediately.
