Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 slices thick-cut bread
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the ground beef until fully browned, about 7–9 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  2. Lower heat to medium, season beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir and cook 1 more minute.
  3. While beef cooks, butter one side of each bread slice.
  4. Place one slice of bread buttered-side down. Layer with cheddar, beef, then mozzarella. Top with the second slice, buttered-side up.
