Description
Strawberry Cheesecake Chimichangas are delicious dessert rolls filled with a creamy strawberry cheesecake mixture, baked to golden perfection.
Ingredients
- 8 flour tortillas
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup strawberry pie filling
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Set oven temperature to 375°F (190°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Spread an even layer of the cream cheese mixture over each tortilla, leaving a narrow border.
- Spoon strawberry pie filling into the center of each tortilla.
- Roll tortillas tightly and position seam-side down in a greased baking dish.
- Brush tops with melted butter. Mix sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over each roll.
- Bake 15–20 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.
- Let stand briefly before serving warm.
