Description
Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites are crispy, golden cubes of French toast tossed in cinnamon sugar and served warm with maple syrup. A quick, crave-worthy breakfast treat.
Ingredients
- 4 thick slices white bread (preferably day old)
- 2 large eggs (or 3 small eggs)
- 1/4 cup milk
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3 tbsp butter, divided
- Maple syrup, for serving
Instructions
- Trim crusts from bread slices and cut each slice into 9 equal cubes.
- In a medium bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and salt until smooth.
- In a shallow bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
- Heat 1/2 tbsp butter in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Dip half the bread cubes into egg mixture, letting excess drip off, then add to skillet.
- Cook 2–3 minutes, tossing occasionally, until golden on all sides.
- Transfer immediately to cinnamon sugar and toss to coat.
- Repeat with remaining butter and bread cubes.
- Serve warm with maple syrup.
