Mini Grilled Cheese Hawaiian Rolls: An incredible, cheesy recipe perfect for cheese lovers and parties!
Ingredients
- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1 teaspoon dried herbs (oregano or basil, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the Rolls: Without separating, slice the entire pack of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally.
- Butter the Rolls: Spread softened butter on cut sides of top and bottom halves.
- Add Garlic Powder: Sprinkle over buttered rolls if using.
- Layer the Cheese: Evenly distribute cheddar and mozzarella on the bottom half.
- Place Top Half: Carefully place top half of rolls back on cheesy bottom half.
- Wrap in Foil: Tightly wrap sandwich in aluminum foil to prevent drying.
- Bake: Bake for 15–20 minutes until cheese melts.
- Unwrap and Toast: For golden crust, unwrap and bake additional 5 minutes.
- Slice and Serve: Cool for a minute, then slice and serve.
